Well 2009 is just hours away as I write this.  I would like to wish all that read this my sincere hope for a healthy, prosperous New year and that all your dreams come alive like never before.

So I’ve been doing today what I know I needed to you.  Write out my plan for this coming year.  It was a lot easier than I thought.  And boy does it feel good.

Now I know what I need to do to make my financial goal a reality.  Of course what I do in the plan will change.  But I know what the minimum money is I want to make.  I know exactly what I need to do in my area of videos to get there.  Wow- I even got my work planned for this week and month.  Here is the link of the mind map of my plan schedule.  Business Plan Schedule

And these goals and work plan doesn’t even include all the good extra things that I can’t even imagine that are going to happen when the internet world sees I really got something special going that they can learn too.

We are all in this to make money. But how many attempts in Internet Marketing have you made that turned out to be much more complicated than you originally thought? Or worse the business model just didn’t work for you. Well I have been doing something that actually works. And best of all it is much simpler than almost everything else I have seen promising easy money on the Internet.

Traffic comes easily with no cost. Top rankings in Google for your key words come in about an hour or even less. This is the truth, it will blow your mind when you see it happen to you.

What I do is I make 1-4 minute video infomercials. This is completely done through ClickBank. On ClickBank you have many, many choices of what you may want to market. All their products are instantly down loadable They even give you a column called Gravity that lets you have a good idea how the down loadable product is selling.

As an affiliate ClickBank charges you nothing to become a member and sell other people’s products. Usually you make between 50-70% of the selling price. Most items I have sold gave me a commission of over $30.

After selecting your product you will want to get rid of that ugly ClickBank URL. You do this by buying a domain name on a site such as GoDaddy. Then you forward and hide the ugly ClickBank URL so buyers don’t even know you are an affiliate.

You have the sellers sales page to get your information of what to put in your video. I will soon write an e-book with a video to give you all the information including the Technical Side. But I wanted to let you know I am doing this since May 2008 and it works. In fact the videos I made last summer are still making me money now every week.

You can see my videos on youtube by typing in the search: “infomania57“. In fact some of them are just a simple slide show. It takes me about 3 hours to write, record, edit and blast the video out to about 50 sites.

Now I am not saying these are great, professional infomercials. No I admit they are barely just good enough. But that’s my point, you barely need to know what your doing to make money at this. I certainly knew almost nothing of what I was doing when I made these. So it will only get a lot better now that I have some experience under my belt. And my only expense has been for $120 when I bought “The Flip” mini camcorder.

They say only 4% of people who attempt Internet Marketing make any money from it.  And only 1% make the big money.  Why is that when so much money flows through the internet?  Why do some who we affectionally call “The Guru’s” make millions per year.  What do they have that everyone else doesn’t?

Well obviously they have certain talents that they have cultivated to work in IM.  But the other 99% of us have talents also that could be used to make good money.  OK, I won’t beat around the bush anymore.

Most people don’t have a clue how to organize what they want to do, or even know what they want to do.  Any business is doomed to failure if there is no plan and road map to make that plan work.  This has been my problem too.  Very fortunately I have now learned how to organize my time to get done the most important tasks in a logical order.  And that is within a plan of just what I want to accomplish in business and in my personal life.

Rob Brooks here. I’m enjoying a snowy day in New York in late 2008.

I’ve decided to let my light shine like never before in 2009. It’s time to really be myself and not let old patterns run my life.

I’m a former e-bay power seller and beginner marketer on the internet. I am very fortunate to have gotten into the coaching group with Alex Jeffreys. What’s different about this mentoring is it is given by the man who makes the money himself. And just as important Alex gives 100% of himself in teaching us step by step.

For once I’ve found out how to really learn and apply internet marketing without hype. Yes, I am learning to take baby steps one at a time. Now I know what to do and how to do it. I don’t have to chase money or sell. Money will chase me as I give away my best stuff for free. And that is very freeing in itself.

My main interest in Internet Marketing is making Videos. I have made several already and will explain in a free e-book very soon how I do it to make money. But early this New Year I am going to get some top training in this and go all out.

My blog name is “Marketing with Rob”. I totally ripped off the name from Alex who uses “Marketing with Alex”. But this is what I want to do. Market together with you, my new friends. I will be leaping tall internet marketing mountains in the coming weeks and months. Please join me in this exciting journey.

There is a huge amount of money flowing on the web. I am learning how to position myself in the middle of the flow of money. And there is plenty of room for you to do that to.

But what many of the gurus are not ready for is the web is quickly changing. Hype will still sell, but not like before. We (the little guys and gals) can and will position our self in the changes to the web which is now called Social Media. Social Media lets anyone speak to the many.
